AI integration means connecting an existing AI model to your own data and systems so it performs a specific task — answering customer questions from your catalogue, extracting data from invoices into your ERP, or drafting replies to routine enquiries. It does not usually mean training a model from scratch, which is far more expensive and rarely necessary.
Almost never. For most business problems, connecting an existing model to your own documents and data through retrieval gives better results, far faster and at a fraction of the cost. Training a custom model only makes sense for highly specialised tasks with large proprietary datasets, and we will say so if yours is one.
There are two costs: the build, and the ongoing model usage. A focused feature such as a document extractor or a support assistant is a contained project. Ongoing usage depends on volume and which model is used, and we design caching and model selection to keep it predictable. We give you an estimate of both before starting.
Language models can produce confident but wrong answers. We reduce this by grounding responses in your own documents through retrieval, instructing the system to say it does not know rather than guess, and adding human review where a wrong answer would be costly. We also test accuracy on your real cases before launch rather than assuming it.
It depends on the setup, and we make that explicit before starting. Commercial APIs from OpenAI and Anthropic do not train on business API data under their standard terms, but the data does leave your infrastructure. Where that is unacceptable — regulated data, or contracts that forbid it — we deploy open-source models on your own servers so nothing leaves the building.
Yes, and that is most of what we do. We integrate AI features into existing WordPress, Laravel, Node.js and Python applications without rebuilding them, working against your current database and authentication.
A focused feature such as a document extractor or support assistant typically takes four to eight weeks including accuracy testing. Broader automation across several workflows takes longer. We prototype early so you can judge quality before committing to the full build.
